Meldir's "walking away" is indeed a very interesting piece of art, better: piece of photography. Doing a photo in the british museum isn't that hard task. But doin' a good photo (like this one) is even harder, because this place is photographed so many times in so many fashions. But back to the art. In my oppinion, the lighting is very well done. The slight overexposure on the right and on the roof, in contrast to the darker parts on the left helps the eye of the watcher to find its way through the image and, what makes it great, following the path in the middle, where at the end the two people "walk away". The symmetry is extraordinary. Having that sepia-like colouring (reminds me on the ILFORD XP2 Film) gives all image some special thingie. It's not 100% like a black/white image but in some way better with this warm toning. Good Work!
ohh thanks so much! i'm glad you like it! i really didnt think this would mean much to anyone but i love it cos the moment and the time there was special and its nice to remember it that way
